Shimadzu Medical Systems USA has installed its digital radiography/fluoroscopy (R/F) system at a site in the Midwest.
Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, IN, acquired the Shimadzu FluoroSpeed 300 system, which incorporates the Aero DR detector from Konica Minolta Medical Imaging.
The 17 x 17-inch flat-panel digital detector supports wireless networking, which transmits acquired digital x-ray images in three seconds to the console, where a radiographic technologist will perform quality-control review of the images, according to Gibson General Hospital.
