Siemens Healthcare plans to launch a revamped version of its Sensis hemodynamic system for interventional procedures at the upcoming American College of Cardiology (ACC) meeting in Chicago.
Sensis Vibe is for recording and documentation in interventional cardiology and electrophysiology (EP) procedures. It features Siemens' FlashDoc, a new approach to documenting procedure data, the company said.
FlashDoc includes QuickAdd, a tool that searches the system database for matching entries as soon as the user starts typing; CaseLog, a time-stamped overview of all hemodynamic/electrical events recorded or manually captured; and Smart SIS, which helps staff verify data entries and measurements automatically, Siemens said.
