Konica Minolta Medical Imaging said it will donate imaging equipment for use in a free healthcare event next week in Los Angeles.
The event will be held April 27-29 and is being organized by Your Best Pathway to Health, a nonprofit service of the Adventist-Laymen's Services and Industries, to provide medical, surgical, vision, and dental services to some 10,000 people. The nonprofit is teaming with Adventist Health, Loma Linda University Health, Seventh-day Adventist Church, and other entities to provide the services at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Konica Minolta will supply two Sonimage HS1 ultrasound systems and a mobile digital radiography (DR) system to the clinic. In addition to the ultrasound and DR systems, Konica Minolta will also partner with dealer Radiographic Equipment Services to provide an AeroDR wireless digital flat-panel detector with a MobileArt Evolution EFX portable x-ray unit from Shimadzu Medical Systems.
