Philips Healthcare has entered into an interventional oncology research agreement with Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, CT.
The multiyear cancer research initiative is designed to explore new concepts in image-guided therapies, diagnostic imaging, and informatics using modalities such as MRI, CT, and ultrasound. Dr. Jeff Geschwind, chair of radiology and biomedical imaging at Yale School of Medicine, will lead the initiative.
As part of the agreement, Philips clinical scientists will work closely with Geschwind's Yale colleagues at the school's state-of-the-art research facility.
