The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has published new quality control guidelines for digital radiography (DR).
The NEMA/MITA XR 30-2016 Quality Control Tools for Digital Projection Radiography is a new standard that defines a set of minimum requirements to help healthcare providers with DR quality control.
The guidelines were developed by the Computed Radiography-Digital Radiography Group of the X-ray Imaging Section of the Medical Imaging and Technology Alliance (MITA), a division of NEMA. It applies to medical x-ray diagnostic imaging, medical digital radiography, and radiography.
The guidelines may be downloaded for free from the NEMA website.
