Renovo Solutions has launched a new insurance plan for digital radiography (DR) detectors that the company believes is a lower-cost alternative to traditional full-service agreements for DR replacement coverage.
The company's Digital Detector Solutions program manages risk to provide the equivalent service and coverage of a traditional full-service plan at a fraction of the cost, the firm said. It provides separate replacement coverage for digital detectors, and thereby more appropriately calculates and manages the risk and, by extension, the cost.
Average cost is reduced by 20% to 50%, according to Renovo Solutions.
The firm partnered with insurance provider ProTek to create Digital Detector Solutions.
