Rayence plans to demonstrate new software for its RU-3000 universal digital radiography (DR) system at next week's AHRA 2016 meeting in Nashville, TN.
The new software offers added functionality for RU-3000, a compact U-arm system. It features a dynamic mode that gives technologists the ability to use a "touch-and-drag" method to position detector angle, source-to-image distance (SID), gantry height, and other parameters.
It also sports a harmonic stitching mode with automatic height compensation, which automatically positions RU-3000 for sequential images of the spine and long-leg exams, as well as automatically adjusting for different patient heights.
Finally, a height memory feature for upright exams automatically positions RU-3000 to the height of a patient if a subsequent exam is needed.
Also at AHRA 2016, Rayence will introduce WCC1012 in its C-Series family of DR detectors. The wireless 10 x 12-inch cesium flat-panel detector offers features such as carbon-fiber construction, water resistance, built-in image memory storage, a sleep mode, automatic exposure detection (AED), and a pixel pitch of 127 microns.
