Agfa Radiology Solutions has launched a new range of digital radiography (DR) flat panel detectors in its Dura-line family, which includes its XD+ and XD series.
The new XF+ range comes in three sizes and combines glass-free technology with high image quality at ultra-high resolution of 99-micron pixel pitch, the company said. The panels are lightweight and built to withstand drops from heights of up to 1.5 meters, as well as water and dust ingress protection, Agfa noted.
The detectors offer 15-hour battery life and can be shared between different modalities using near-field communication wireless technology. Agfa will unveil the new detectors at the upcoming RSNA annual meeting in Chicago.
