Interventional device provider Cook has received Food and Drug Administration clearance for its Zilver 518 biliary stent.
Designed to treat patients with malignant neoplasms in the biliary system, Zilver 518 is a 5-French-compatible, lower profile system delivered over a 0.018-inch wire guide to facilitate its use in smaller lumens, according to the Bloomington, IN-based firm.
