Coronary imaging developer InfraReDx has tapped medical imaging industry veteran Donald Southard as president and CEO.
Southard comes to the Burlington, MA-based firm with more than 30 years of sales, marketing, and executive experience, most recently serving as CEO of ultrasound technology developer Zonare Medical Systems. He has also served as president of Datascope and president and CEO of Serviscope, and he had executive stints at Toshiba America Medical Systems and Philips Healthcare.
InfraReDx co-founder and previous CEO James Muller, MD, will continue with the firm as chief medical officer and also in a new role as chairman of the board.
