Biomarker developer VirtualScopics of Rochester, NY, has hired Jeffrey Markin, a 26-year veteran of Eastman Kodak, as its chief operating officer.
Markin was vice president and general manager of output systems and mammography products at Rochester-based Kodak. After joining the firm's health group in 2001, he managed major group operations, including its x-ray, mammography, healthcare IT software, and global radiology sales and service businesses.
