VHA inks outsourcing deal with InSight

Healthcare network VHA has signed an outsourcing agreement with imaging services provider InSight Health Services of Newport Beach, CA. The agreement will provide VHA members with a means of providing mobile and fixed-site MRI and PET services, according to VHA. Since InSight scanners are generally shared among a group of hopsitals and physicians, providers can share the risk of starting a new service, achieve protection from equipment obsolescence, and eliminate the need for up-front capital investment, according to Irving, TX-based VHA.
