PET vendor Positron has tapped a new president, Joseph Oliverio, replacing Griffith Miller in the position.
Oliverio was previously chief operating officer of a coronary disease reversal and prevention center owned by Dr. Michael Merhige. He is also a certified nuclear medicine technologist and has performed more than 13,000 combined heart and cancer PET scans using Positron's technology. He's been involved with Positron in various capabilities since 1995.
Oliverio joins other recent Positron executive additions, including David Wilson, hired as CEO, and Corey Conn, CFO and executive vice president of operations. Miller, Positron's previous president, will remain with the company as executive vice president of software and IT technologies.
