Imaging software developer Syntermed of Atlanta has launched NeuroQ 3.5 to enhance the accuracy of FDG-PET brain imaging for improved diagnosis of dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
The nuclear medicine quantitative software adds 10 new features designed to improve performance, processing, and quality control. It is compatible with the company's Syntermed Live application for secure remote access to images and data.
Syntermed also is collaborating with molecular imaging developer Avid Radiopharmaceuticals of Philadelphia to quantify amyloid uptake for Alzheimer's diagnosis.
Syntermed unveiled the upgraded software and its Avid partnership at the Alzheimer's Association 2010 International Conference in Honolulu.
