GE Healthcare said that it has received commitments from more than 100 global customers for its Alcyone nuclear cardiology platform.
Introduced in 2009, Alcyone combines cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) digital detectors, focused pinhole collimation, stationary data acquisition, and 3D reconstruction, according to the vendor. It's available on GE's Discovery NM 530c and NM/CT 570c scanners.
GE is highlighting the technology at this week's American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC) meeting in Denver.
