Bayer HealthCare's Radiology & Interventional Division will showcase new technologies, including new wireless integration between its Intego PET injectors and PACS software, at the Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM) meeting taking place in Miami June 9-13.
Bayer has updated Intego's Certegra software to enable it to integrate wirelessly to HIS/RIS/PACS networks to facilitate downloading the PET modality worklist as an infusion schedule and sending infusion results to PACS, the company said.
This new capability will replace several manual processes, which will lead to streamlined workflow and improved efficiency in PET centers, Bayer said.
Also, in a scientific exhibition, Bayer said it will showcase developing technologies for controlled administration of low-energy radiopharmaceuticals and small animal molecular imaging.
