Cardinal Health plans to introduce new upgrades for its Syntrac integration tools, which are designed for data integration in hospital nuclear medicine departments and imaging centers.
New features and functionality include improved efficiency in scheduling, ordering, and inventory receiving processes, Cardinal said. The data integration can also help improve the accuracy and consistency of data across multiple workstations and technologies across multiple facilities.
The Syntrac integration tools integrate with Cardinal Health's Web Ordering technology to order patient-specific doses of radiopharmaceuticals. Orders can be placed directly from the Syntrac integration tools main dashboard, and users can download inventory packing lists without keying in the information or scanning individual unit-dose barcodes.
Cardinal Health now also offers automated electronic data integration (EDI) electronic invoicing.
The upgrades will be unveiled at next week's Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM) meeting in Miami Beach, FL.
