Radiopharmaceutical provider IBA Molecular North America is now producing zirconium-89 (Zr-89) at its radiopharmaceutical plant in Richmond, VA.
The radioisotope has a half-life of 78.41 hours and is utilized in specialized research and development applications using PET imaging. It will be available five days a week with direct door-to-door distribution in the U.S., according to the company.
