PET firm Positron and biological facilities manufacturer Biologics Modular will collaborate in a comarketing agreement that enables Positron to offer additional clean-room capacity from Biologics for Positron's PosiRx automated radiopharmacy system.
Biologics Modular designs and manufacturers modular facilities that serve as self-contained biorepositories, biomanufacturing suites, and research suites, while PosiRx enables users to create patient-specific radiopharmaceutical unit doses in an ISO Class 5 environment, the firms said. The agreement will reduce both startup times and operating costs for PosiRx users.
