Nuclear medicine firm Digirad has acquired Telerhythmics for approximately $3.6 million.
Telerhythmics is a 24-hour cardiac event monitoring service used on an outsourced basis by hospitals and physician offices throughout the Eastern region of the U.S., according to Digirad. The company is based in Memphis, TN, and generated approximately $5.6 million in revenue in 2013.
The $3.6 million acquisition price includes an upfront $3.47 million cash payment and the assumption of approximately $131,000 in debt. Digirad plans to keep Telerhythmics at its current facility in Memphis.
