GE Healthcare said it will supply generators for the production of sodium pertechnetate technetium-99m (Tc-99m) injection to its U.S. radiopharmacies, effective June 1.
GE has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval to supply the Tc-99m generators. The vendor said it has 31 radiopharmacies in the U.S. and is responsible for more than 30% of the world's supply of radioactive tracers.
