Siemens Healthcare subsidiary PETNet Solutions has inked an agreement with Blue Earth Diagnostics for the exclusive manufacturing and distribution of a radiopharmaceutical for PET/CT scans.
Clinical trials for F-18 fluciclovine are underway in the U.S., Japan, Italy, Norway, Sweden, and Finland, PETNet Solutions said. The tracer's long half-life may make supplying it to clinical trial sites and imaging centers easier, once it gains approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), according to the firm.
