Siemens Healthineers plans to highlight a molecular imaging version of its syngo.via software at the upcoming Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) meeting in San Diego.
The software includes features such as organ processing for SPECT exams, molecular tumor volume and total lesion glycolysis tools for PET, and hybrid gating 4D visualization of PET and CT, the company said.
Also at the meeting, Siemens will debut a mobile Biograph Horizon PET/CT scanner, which it developed for healthcare facilities that may not have the patient volume to support a fixed PET/CT system, according to the firm.
