Gamma Medica brings MBI to Henry Ford

Molecular imaging developer Gamma Medica has taken an order for its LumaGem molecular breast imaging (MBI) system from Henry Ford Health System in Detroit.

The plan is to install the system before the end of the year at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. MBI scans will be offered as a secondary screening and diagnostic tool following mammography, particularly for women with dense breast tissue.
