MRI provider Miracor Diagnostics of San Diego reported net income for the third quarter of 2001 as down somewhat over the same period last year, due to start-up costs related to its new Perrysburg, OH, center. Net revenue was up 4%, however, according to company president and CEO Lee Hulsebus.
Miracor’s net revenue for the third quarter was $2.4 million, a 4% increase compared to $2.3 million for the third quarter of 2000. Net income for the same period was $61,000, compared with third-quarter 2000 net income of $76,000.
Miracor owns and operates eight medical imaging centers in California, Florida, Illinois, and Ohio.
