Interventional technology developer Suros Surgical Systems said that it has placed more than 130 of its MRI Automated Tissue Excision and Collection (ATEC) units at breast centers and hospitals in the U.S.
The Indianapolis-based firm also claims that more than 5,000 MRI-guided breast biopsies have been completed since the ATEC system became available in May 2003.
