Frank Grillo has stepped in as the new president and CEO-elect of MRI Interventions as the company announced that its streak of eight straight quarters of revenue growth has ended.
Revenues from the sale of ClearPoint disposable products increased approximately 22% from the third quarter of 2013 to $575,000. However, the company has ended its run of eight consecutive quarters of sequential growth, with third-quarter total revenues estimated at approximately $630,000.
For the nine months ended September 30, estimated product revenues totaled approximately $2.5 million, representing growth of 36% over the same period last year.
The firm will release its full third quarter results in the first half of November.
