Swedish radiation therapy firm Elekta has selected Tomas Puusepp as its president and CEO.
Puusepp, who joined the firm in 1988, has been a member of Elekta's executive committee, most recently with global responsibility for sales, marketing, and service operations. Laurent Leksell, the company's largest shareholder and former president and CEO, has assumed a new role, focusing on Elekta's strategic development, long-term customer relations, and expansion into new markets, according to the Stockholm-based vendor.
