Rad Technology to build treatment rooms for NHS

Radiation oncology firm Rad Technology of Pembroke, FL, has signed an agreement to provide up to five new radiotherapy rooms for the NHS Trust's Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Middlesex, U.K.

Each room will be built at the Mount Vernon site in just five days, and will house a preinstalled linear accelerator from Varian Medical Systems of Palo Alto, CA, providing radiation treatment on an outpatient basis, Rad Technology said.
