Oncology device developer RITA Medical Systems has appointed Mario Martinez to the newly created position of vice president of operations, general manager.
Martinez, who most recently served as founder, president, and CEO of technical advisory firm Tecnix and has over 25 years of medical device industry experience, will have responsibility for company-wide operations, according to the Fremont, CA-based firm. He will also serve as general manager of RITA's facility in Manchester, GA.
