Elekta acquires Medical Intelligence firm

Swedish radiation therapy firm Elekta said that it has acquired Schwabmünchen, Germany-based patient handling, positioning, and immobilization device developer Medical Intelligence.

The Stockholm-based Elekta reported that the 33-person firm was purchased for 20 million euros ($23.4 million U.S.).
