Computer-aided detection (CAD) and radiation therapy firm iCAD will present its Axxent SPX controller at next week's American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) meeting in San Francisco.
iCAD said that the Axxent SPX controller features a streamlined design to offer mobility and flexibility for delivering electronic brachytherapy treatment in a wider range of healthcare settings, including smaller treatment rooms. In addition, the Axxent SPX controller includes new software and an enhanced barcode scanning function, according to the vendor.
iCAD has also added the new software and enhanced barcode scanning option to its Axxent MPX controller offering.
