AirXpanders said its AeroForm patient-controlled breast tissue expander will be featured in two presentations at the upcoming American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) meeting in Boston.
Dr. Jeffrey Ascherman from Columbia University will report on results of the AirXpanders Patient Activated Controlled Tissue Expander System for Breast Reconstruction (XPAND) U.S. trial, which compared AeroForm with saline tissue expansion. Dr. Kamakshi Zeidler of Campbell, CA, will present information to plastic surgery residents on the use of AeroForm and its clinical results, AirXpanders said.
AeroForm has been cleared for marketing in Europe and Australia.
