Accuray touts ESTRO 2022 research presentations

Radiation therapy firm Accuray said that more than 70 abstracts reporting on the use of its CyberKnife and TomoTherapy technologies were presented at the annual meeting of the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) in Copenhagen this week.

Studies were presented detailing CyberKnife's utility in neurological disorders and breast cancer, for example, according to the company. Meanwhile, other researchers shared findings on TomoTherapy's TomoHelical treatment delivery for treating multiple myeloma, anal cancer, nonmetastatic cervical cancer, and multiple painful bone metastases, according to the vendor.
