Radiation therapy software developer RaySearch Laboratories has launched RayCare 6A, the latest version of its oncology information system for collecting and managing data during various stages of cancer care.
Updates include improvements in the usability and efficiency of the patient chart, such as user-configured templates for selected workspaces and support for financial accounts for charge capture.
In addition, RayCare 6A offers improved connectivity and integration with other hospital information systems with the addition of external interfaces for sending and receiving treatment summaries based on the American Society for Radiation Oncology's newly released Integrating Healthcare Enterprise-Radiation Oncology (IHE-RO) initiative.
Also, RayCare 6A is more deeply integrated with other RaySearch products, meaning that more data can be automatically transferred and displayed across products to ensure an efficient user workflow, the company said.
