Fukuda to buy Kontron

Japanese ECG and monitoring firm Fukuda Denshi of Tokyo has signed an agreement to purchase French echocardiography firm Kontron Medical.

Kontron will retain its identity and full activities, and will extend its critical care products with Fukuda Denshi monitors, while Fukuda Denshi will offer Kontron echocardiography systems, according to the vendors.
