Acusphere names Jaffe as VP

Ultrasound contrast developer Acusphere has selected Dr. Jonathan Jaffe as its vice president of medical affairs.

Jaffe is a board-certified cardiologist and will have overall responsibility at the firm for medical affairs, including the relationship between the company and the medical/scientific community. He also will be relied on for input on commercial initiatives and various strategic matters, according to Acusphere of Watertown, MA.
