OmniSonics names Lang as VP, CMO

Vascular ultrasound developer OmniSonics Medical Technologies of Wilmington, MA, has appointed Dr. Elvira Lang as its vice president and chief medical officer (CMO).

Lang most recently served as chief of vascular/interventional radiology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, a position she has held for the past eight years. The firm said that Lang will play a pivotal role in the development and commercialization of its products for vascular occlusive disease.
