Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite of Bothell, WA, reported that it has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Mountain View, CA-based Zonare Medical Systems in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Southern Division.
In its complaint, SonoSite asserts that Zonare has infringed SonoSite's U.S. Patent No. 5,722,412 through Zonare's sales of its z.one ultrasound platform.
The complaint seeks unspecified monetary damages and a court injunction against future infringement by Zonare.
