Toshiba America Medical Systems has unveiled a cardiology-specific set of offerings for its Aplio XG ultrasound system at this week's American College of Cardiology (ACC) meeting in New Orleans.
The Tustin, CA-based vendor said that its cardio package for the Aplio XG includes Tissue Doppler Imaging Quantification (TDI-Q), software that allows clinicians to perform various analyses for TDI images as well as measure myocardial viability.
As part of the TDI-Q package, cardiologists will have access to harmonic tissue Doppler, angle correction, tissue tracking, and dyssynchronous imaging capabilities, according to Toshiba.
