Medical video products distributor Scientific Vision Systems (SVS) of Carlsbad, CA, has begun U.S. sales of two new medical printers from Mitsubishi Medical Imaging for ultrasound and endoscopy applications.
The color printers are based on dye sublimation technology and are available in an analog configuration, CP-30W, and a digital version, CP-30DW. They have a resolution of 423 dots per inch in 16.7 million colors. Mitsubishi launched the printers in February 2007.
The systems are sheet-fed printers that include front-panel LED displays and paper trays that accommodate up to 80 sheets of S-format paper and 50 sheets of L-format paper. Both also feature an illuminated paper exit slot for use in darkened rooms.
