SonoSite posts rise in Q2 sales, income

Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite reported strong growth in sales and net income for the company's second quarter (end-June 30).

For the period, SonoSite posted sales of $47.4 million, up 20% compared with $39.5 million in the same period of 2006. The company saw net income grow to $1.7 million, compared with net income of $1.4 million in the year-ago quarter.
