(Booth 5515) Medipattern will highlight new versions of its B-CAD breast ultrasound CAD software, which is designed to work in both turnkey environments and as part of offerings from the Toronto company's corporate partners.
B-CAD 1.2.1 Turn Key Solution and B-CAD 1.2.1 Software Solution are different flavors of the company's version 1.2.1 software that represent a step forward in connectivity and workflow, according to Medipattern. The software finds lesion edges; characterizes lesions automatically for size, shape, and orientation; and generates a natural-language report containing complete BI-RADS information. The software is currently being shipped only in the U.S.

Also look for Medipattern to discuss a version of the 1.2.1 platform developed for the C4 platform of Cedara Software of Mississauga, Ontario.
Medipattern will also discuss B-CAD 2.2 Software Solution, both as a standalone product and as a plug-in module for PACS software from Sectra of Linköping, Sweden. In addition to other features, the software enables radiologists to assess lesions using BI-RADS criteria. The software is available in international markets, but is not available yet in the U.S. and will be shown as a work-in-progress.
