Ultrasound and radiotherapy products developer CIVCO Medical Solutions of Kalona, IA, has launched two new needle guidance systems.
The new Infiniti needle guidance system is intended for use with the HFL50x transducer on the M-Turbo and S series ultrasound platforms from SonoSite of Bothell, WA. SonoSite's HFL50x transducer, coupled with the Infiniti needle guidance system, is designed for regional anesthesia imaging applications and shallow access biopsies.
In addition, CIVCO's new Ultra-Pro II needle guidance system is designed for use with the C1-4EC transducer on the Accuvix XQ and EKO 7 ultrasound platforms from Medison of Cypress, CA.
Ultra-Pro II utilizes a two-part system consisting of a custom, reusable biopsy bracket and a disposable snap-on needle guide and is designed for ultrasound-guided procedures, including core tissue biopsy, fluid aspirations, and catheter placement.
