Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite has signed an agreement with the University of California, Irvine (UCI) to integrate ultrasound visualization into its four-year medical school curriculum.
Under the terms of the deal, the Bothell, WA-based vendor will act as an exclusive ultrasound partner. SonoSite's ultrasound systems will allow students to view anatomical structures in real-time and better understand physiological processes, according to the vendor.
