Misonix lands China distribution deal

Ultrasound technology developer Misonix of Farmingdale, NY, has inked an agreement with a Chinese firm for the distribution of Misonix products.

Under terms of the three-year exclusive agreement, CICEL Enterprise of Beijing will distribute Misonix's SonaStar ultrasonic surgical aspirator, BoneScalpel ultrasonic bone cutter, and SonicOne ultrasonic wound debrider. The agreement also gives CICEL rights to sell the devices in Hong Kong.

CICEL will begin distributing for Misonix after the devices have been registered with the People's Republic of China's State Food and Drug Administration, according to Misonix.
