Hitachi brings HI Vision Preirus to U.S.

The HI Vision Preirus ultrasound scanner from Hitachi Medical Systems America of Twinsburg, OH, is now available in the U.S. market.

The HI Vision Preirus features Cell Processor technology and Smart Touch operation, with a touchscreen integrated with the LCD display for enhanced scanning efficiency.

It also offers a variety of transducers with application-specific crystal array architecture and supports advanced imaging with the optional features of real-time tissue elastography and real-time virtual sonography.

Preirus has been available in Europe and Japan for more than a year.
