Analogic subsidiary BK Medical of Herlev, Denmark, has added a surgical ultrasound system to its Flex Focus line.
Designed primarily for ultrasound-guided surgical procedures in the operating room, Flex Focus 700 can be controlled using its large touchscreen or the touchpad on the control panel, according to Analogic of Peabody, MA. Its 19-inch screen can display laparoscopic, intraoperative, and percutaneous images with detail that is visible from virtually any angle, the company said.
The system also supports a wide range of sterilizable transducers, Analogic said. BK will highlight Flex Focus 700 at the this week's European Society of Regional Anaesthesia (ESRA) annual congress in Porto, Portugal, and at next month's American College of Surgeons (ACS) clinical congress in Washington, DC.
