Ultrasound developer U-Systems has installed its first somo.v automated breast ultrasound system (ABUS) in Canada.

VIP Breast Imaging in Toronto received the scanner and will be the first site in Canada to offer ultrasound breast screening, according to the vendor. In addition, U-Systems said it would partner with VIP Breast Imaging as it expands its imaging centers across Canada.
