Toshiba lands large ultrasound order

Toshiba America Medical Systems has delivered nine Aplio 500 ultrasound scanners to outpatient imaging services provider Epic Imaging in Oregon.

Epic Imaging is using the ultrasound systems to diagnose a variety of medical issues, Toshiba said. It is also exploring potential clinical applications of the system's Fly Thru technology.
